Pinkie Pie eats a peanut butter sandwich and then forgets to practice oral hygiene before talking to Rarity.

What is it about peanuts and peanut butter that makes your mouth so stinky? I don't even like to drink water right after eating peanut butter, because then the glass of water gets contaminated with peanut butter backwash, and every time I take another sip of water it's like I'm being french-kissed by the Loathsome Fetid Peanut Butter Beast of Lunchbox Swamp! Yeccch!

Have you tried using your lips to stop water from flowing back into the glass? I haven't had backwash in over 10 years.

This comic is so far removed from my experience that I am boggled and headscratchy from its very existence. There are many unpleasant odors in this world, but I have never found any associated with peanut butter in a lifetime of associating with peanut butter eaters.

Usually when I drink a glass of water after eating a PB sammy, I down the whole glass in one gulp, mostly because peanuts make me super-thirsty and because I'm a really tall guy with a big appetite. I've never had peanut butter backwash, though I do get kind of queasy when I'm eating spaghetti and see a thin, oily, almost totally invisible layer of spaghetti sauce backwash floating in my drink.
