This started off as a random free sketch...but then I accidentally coloured it in...
Gem never understood why she wasn't allowed to go with her brothers and sisters and daddy each morning as a chaotic scramble for an hour or so during breakfast time, as various siblings got ready to go to nursery or kindergarden or school or high school or in her daddys case, work.
by 8 oclock all that was ever left was her and her mummy and it perplexed Gem no end as to what the rest of her family did during the day and why she couldn't tag along.
As each sibling returned home after their day, Gem would always be waiting to hug them and quiz them about what they did, eager to know what had happened during the day and then to relate her own exhausting day of naps, changes and playtime.
