yeah ive been playing allot of runescape lately and well I wanted to do a romantic piece involving a mourner and my character from the game. I have this couple in the middle of Isafdar forest in the game and I enjoyed creating this piece as well. Basically this couple fell in love with each other, (even though the mourners are in fact evil elves)
Mourners however are infact a reference to plague doctors and the original graphics for them had them wearing a WW1 gas mask. The graphical update now with the current mask which is the one you see here, which is more historically accurate i think anyway.
