Optimus lowered his gun to try and salvage the situation, since his goal was to not form another enemy for himself or his team.
He raised both hands, moving forward, and stopped when the medic hissed warningly at him. "We were merely being cautious. We heave heard of your reputation and-" He stumbled to a halt when the two fliers began to laugh. Deadfall's laugh was quiet, but quickly escalated to a hysterical screech. When Databyte's much quieter and sinister laughter faded, hers stopped dead.
"Clearly you did not listen well, or you would have known better than to attempt to creep up on me." He stated casually. "I knew you were coming from a mile away." He teased. Optimus and the others took a healthy step backwards, realizing the situation to be compromised. The leader went to turn, only to have the barrel of a massive red shaded gun in his face.
Lockdown stood just behind him, giving the truck a gap toothed grin. He stood even in height to Optimus, and in his free hand he held Bulkhead by the back of the neck. The large mech was unconscious. Bumblebee and Arcee instantly had all of their guns pointed at the bounty hunter, who didn't even react. "Fancy meeting a Prime here," Lockdown drawled, his voice deep and thick. "You sure don't seem the type to come prowlin' for bounties."
"Lockdown." Databyte's voice was quiet. "Drop it." The massive muscle car turned his gaze to the bot who was less than half his size. Much to the astonishment of the Autobots, the former bounty hunter dropped his arm down and let go of Bulkhead, as ordered. He shoved his shoulder into Prime to get by him, standing off to the side.
Optimus and the others sat in stunned silence, though they went to aid Bulkhead as soon as they were free from Lockdown's guns. And since no one else was pointing guns, they felt it was alright to call in Ratchet. The bridge opened outside, the light casting an eery glow through the torn doors. Ratchet stepped inside, and once he saw the situation, stopped dead in his tracks.
"Well go on." Databyte mocked. He watched them all like a vulture does a dehydrated creature. Just waiting for the moment to dig in. Optimus moved from Bulkhead when Ratchet began scanning him, again lifting his hands to show he was not hostile. The whole situation was becoming increasingly odd.
