Every year this one robin makes a nest in a bush in my backyard. It doesn't seem like a safe spot to me, especially since I'm short as all hell and I can EASILY access the nest, as you can see. xD But I leave her and her babies alone, and so does the dog.
Yesterday I saw her in the bush and I snuck over to get a photo, but as I tried to get into a good position she flew away. I was disappointed, but I thought, OK, I'll get a photo of the eggs then.
THEY WERE NOT EGGS ANYMORE, THEY WERE BABIESSSS.
So ugly and adorable...and barely even moving!
So, happy birthday little dudes! Good luck! x3
DISCLAIMER: I did not touch or disturb the babies in ANY WAY. Also that myth about a bird abandoning babies because they smell like "human" is just that - a myth. Birds do not use scent very much for anything, if at all.

You immediately reminded me of one of my favorite poets, Emily Dickinson' "If I can stop..." is my favorite and my philosophy of life as well.
Enjoy, darling!
