Shi turned to watch the blue creature before her, powerful, smelling faintly of spices, soap and something almost...familiar. A camera was held in the creatures hands, and a smile curled over the bifurcated mouth as it motioned to hir.
"Can I take your picture?" The voice was pleasant, a light rain after a storm.
"But...why?" Shi asked, turning to stare at the other nagas not far off, the bright colors of emerald, jade, sapphire and rubies sparkling in the sun. The dusts of gold over the king cobra's that basked.
"Because, " It turned to stare at where shi was looking, ears shifting for a moment before it turned back. "You are the most interesting and beautiful thing I see."
Unsure what to say to such worse shi stared up at the cat like creature, green blue eyes widening as shi grasped for words. Was it lying? She could smell nothing but the heady scent of spices around her, and see nothing but the curious changing spots on the creatures body...
"Im a monster." Shi offered, quiet as shi tore hir eyes away from the hypnotic markings.
Padded fingers gently scraped under hir chin lifting till shi had to look the beast in the eyes and what shi saw there made her stop, forget to breathe.
"No. I'll prove it if you want." Shi watched as the creature folded itself carefully beside hir, tail flicking to land over her own and a smile curving past the muzzle.
"...only if you think its worth it."
"You are worth everything"
