I woke up about 10 minutes ago because my leg was really bothering me and noticed I had a text and a voicemail from Zillah. Well, I called her back as I figured she'd still be up because one of her dogs had died only 30 minutes prior. I am glad he no longer has to suffer and I celebrate death as a passing on back to the astral realm. No pain, no problems, only freedom.

He had been suffering with bad allergies for a couple of years now, and apparently last night it got extremely bad. Best I can figure is he ended up getting a bunch of mucus in his lungs and probably couldn't breathe. Luckily he didn't suffer for long.

Kitsune is extremely special to me because, back when Zillah and I were together, we bought this dog together from the Mansfield pound back in (I think) 04. This picture was taken in 06 when we were still together.

Zillah and I remained like brother and sister after we broke up. To this day we still see each other regularly. And I had gotten to pet Kitsune only about 3 or 4 days ago, so I am happy.

He was a tri colored full collie. Beautiful dog and always very affectionate. His memories will be cherished.
