On our visit to Tampa Union Station for National Train Day 2012, we were greeted by Amtrak Phase IV Heritage P42DC number 184! She looks great in the near-perfect sun. Train Day 2012 also happened to be the 100th anniversary celebration for Tampa Union Station itself! CSX also had a nice collection of their different types of Hi-Rail trucks on display. Visible behind the 184 is one of the coaches on the Amtrak train that brought us into the station.

I was too busy running the n-scale display in the freight building.
But I understand this was one of its first times in the south from running out west since receiving its new paint job.

Oh wow, nice to see another FA user was there! Who knows, you may have even seen me. I was wearing the white T-shirt with the anthro CSX diesels on it, and was carrying around a wolf plushie. x3

saw this one last year on the northbound Crescent in Atlanta. I believe it was coming back from New Orleans. Only problem was it was the second unit lol

I knew they just put a car behind the engine and transferred the lines over. Haha. Very rare you see them matching like this.

Wow ' I take the train Amtrak Ca Zephyr to MMF and Anthrocon and later to Fur fright , It's the only way to go plus the food is much better than the airlines and no groping or Deadly X Ray. Plus you can see the sights . Mountain Blue Fox Joe.
