Yet another, foolish warrior came to make a name for him self. With nothing but his armor, horse, squire, and misplaced sense of duty he entered the valley of the 'Snub Nosed Red Mud Dragon' and like all the others before him he fed the beasts belly. I looked on through my gnomish tele-glass, and watched in abject curiosity as the knight faced the mighty Kartonis and then Kartonis had to hunt the oh so brave warrior which sacrificed his noble stead and his youthful squire to save his own steel plated hide. And hide he did... I try and warn them, I try and stop them, but time and time again they ignore my research. Charging thick headed to the sulfuric digestive acids of this dragons stomach... Thus the dragon once again feeds...
Its done. At last!... After numerous set backs, frustrations, and psychic wars with my self I finally completed Kartonis's commission. Its rare that I have such trouble with a piece. Commission for

I wish!... I would love to do some D&D illustrations, covers, or published art. My original art idols were Parkinson, Brom, and Elmore back when they were doing the D&D, and Dragonlance art of the late 80s and early 90's they are the reason I took up oils and acrylics in the first place. To get a chance to stand even close to their accomplishment would be an honor! However every time I have sent my portfolio to Wizards in the past I got a polite "Go Away"... Besides they all want digital work any more, and I prefer traditional media.
However, Thanks *Big Grin*

*tsks* They just never learn. Not that I'm complaining for easy snacks of course!
Again, super-rad work on this Ryngs. You've given me a fantastically imposing feeling here, and the fangly teeth and extra frills make for quite the monstrous look. A beast to behold indeed!
The softness of the lush landscape contrasts nicely with the strong red and sharp angles of the drake. You've an ever-watchful eye for composition!
Thanks again so much...and much love for the skulls! *smirks*

at last you did it. :)
reminds me a bit of an old Ral Partha minifig vignette, where a teram of dwarves try to get away with a red dragon't egg without momma noticing...
I really have to try again and complete it. the pieces are so heavy they won't hold without extra means. :P
