
This is a portrait piece of the most lovely Vera (see here at http://www.furaffinity.net/user/vera/), I have been working on incorporating more species and colors into the art work I do so I asked a number of artists if they would be comfortable with my using their fursona/persona for this project. There are myriads of them. You can google for all kindsa different photoshop brushes. There are many available in DA, too.
Try these for starters.

Just download the pack, save it to your Photoshop folder (presets -> brushes) and when you launch the program go to brushes -> load brushes and choose the file you just downloaded. You can also make any kind of brushes of your own. It's very easy. =)

I often make brushes by converting photos into greyscale and tweaking the darken/lighten levels until I get shapes that I like.
