Silence In The Library - Part One - psychoshounen.
- COMMISSION -
A relative sort of peace had fallen over Adramelech's life. His work continued uninterrupted for a while, the humans remained blissfully unaware of his true role in their lives and those that happened to discover exactly what he was had not the time nor inclination to tell anyone as they were dragged to Hell.
It was strange for Adramelech to experience such a thing as complacency, such a concept seemed mysterious and sinful to the Demon, yet here he was performing a rather 9-5 job as the humans called it. Adramelech had forgotten what it meant to be filled with a kind of purpose. This attitude was a dangerous thing to possess as he would soon discover much to his humiliation and pain.
With little else to do after another droll working day, Adramelech decided to pay a visit to a book store within his local residence. Unlike the libraries that the humans used, this was one of his world, filled with knowledge of dark arts, demons and mythology that the normal world had no idea still existed.
Adramelech owed his visit to Vempyremon, who without her aid, would not have sought out such knowledge being that his memory wouldn't have allowed him the pleasure of reading a book. As his memory was now fully functioning again however, he could read once more and absorb the knowledge within the tomes.
Standing before a bookshelf, the demon Adramelech scanned the dusty looking books. Touching the leather-back covers a smile crept on his lips as he saw the golden letters spelling out the authors whom had poured their knowledge and experience into the pages. Adramelech even discovered a short passage that he himself had contributed to. Something he'd written in his youth describing his home in a dimension of fire and torture. A home he hoped to return to one day.
As the demon was about to pick out a book containing well known lords he felt a chill wash over his body. Frozen to the spot, Adramelech heard the low, hate filled tone of someone awfully familiar.
"Silbernen Haaren Fee!" The German words were of no doubt an insult of some kind.
Not given the time enough to react, Adramelech grunted as he was spun around and shoved against the bookshelf, the force of which knocked several books to the ground while Kain's form leered closer, the masked Vampiric ice lord's mouth was stretched wide, his fanged teeth glinting even in the poorly lighten library.
Pushed up against the tough, hard, unforgiving shelf, Adramelech had no where to go as Kain leaned in.

This ladies and germs is the start of a wonderful little three part series I've commissioned from a brilliantly talented and all around nice person Psy. Having stumbled across their work with my friend V, we both got to talking like we usually do about what we would put in a commissioned image by this artist. Eventually we settled on something like this and it was originally going to be just a one-off thing. But when I received the finished piece we both agreed that we just had to get a follow up picture and then suddenly it had turned into a mini-series of pictures featuring our characters. Trust me when I say this, it's going to get really, really good.
Enjoy!
