A final re-cap on Crash. I purchased this head 2nd hand, from what I can only deem a child.
The head was built by
and is wonderful. However it's original owner did not take proper care of it, and advertised it as only needing a small bit of repairs from where she shaved down the fur, and I noticed she had added foam...things to the eyes. If only it was that simple.
When I got the head it looked like this:

and yes, i did try to contact the seller, and no she won't work with me.
Anyways, I did many things to this, and my friends helped and supported me as well. First thing I did was brush it for about an hour, as the poor thing looked like it had never ever been brushed since leaving the makers house. The main thing spot cleaning the rainbow mess with a toothbrush for about three hours a day, over a weeks span.
Took off the foam "eye lids" re worked the left ear, that due to being packed in a too small box, with no padding came to me bent.
My friend
replaced the tongue because it couldn't be saved, as it was /caked/ in glitter glue. She also made pieces to patch the shaved spots up.
Augh. It's been a grueling process, and eventually I will have it properly reFURbished by Sharpe, but for now I think it's looking good for what was done to it.
has been so wonderful, and I wasn't even a client of hers. I would highly recommend anyone to her! Her masks are top quality, and can withstand /this/ much "activity." The mask is so comfortable, and *light* and fits beautifully as well.
