From ancient D&D- The Evil Wizard who witnessed the Merging of Bloop(a Water Elemental) and her Companion was INSPIRED!! If an Elemental could gain power by "soul-binding" with a human,what would happen if a soul were merged with Lower forms of life like SLIMES,MOLDS,& JELLIES? He was determined to find out-No Matter the cost! After years of perfecting his "soul-bind" Technique,He created the Life form that would be Known as IT and placed a foolish young man's soul into the Golemnoid and got new lease on life placing His essence inside the boy's abandoned shell...! Later He terriorized villagers with a fake plague that turned the hapless into "slime-creatures"....Or course it was he binding the victims souls into the various SLIMES that were in the area..! Most of the time the experiments failed,but occasionally a sucess emerged...Like Joella here who could even speak...!
