In the eastern clans all dragons are born with an affinity towards an element, Tanith was rare in that he was born with two, seemingly conflicting forces. Fire, a power of destruction and death, a skill that focused on offense and aggressiveness, His second affinity was nature a power of life and regrowth, a skill focused on defense and patience. With the two powers fighting within him his colors turned to ash, and unlike many of his brethren he was not able to use a breath attack with his affinity such as fire or lightning when he was young for whenever he would try his untrained powers would collide causing a plant growth within him which was then hit by the fire resulting in a cloud of smoke and ash to come forth. After years of training to balance his two driving forces he learned to dived the powers when needed or combing them effectively, such as creating an ash that would burn through even the greatest of defenses, resulting in him becoming among the strongest warriors in the empire. As a result of mastering his skills he not only became one of the strongest warriors but one of the greatest tacticians in the land.
