This is Feldspar, a vampire the co-main character of one of my sillier little projects.

To sum things up, the victim of a vampire in this setting (if not killed or having a binding rune placed upon them to prevent it) will become infected upon being bitten, and once the infection is complete the "soul" and personality of the victim is ousted from the body and replaced by that of the vampire. Many are brand new beings, having only their instincts and the knowledge of their bodies original inhabitant, usually accompanied by the one who made them. But some are the souls of vampires once killed, reincarnated into a new body usually through a vampire of the same lineage.

Feldspar is an example of such, as he has already lived 3 times previous to his current incarnation. However, due to a botched brain surgery in the middle of the victim (A boy named Isac who was plagued by bad luck on a scale beyond that of normal comprehension) being "ousted", Feldspar and Isac must share the same body, one being able to be "in control" at a time, with slight physical changes taking place between the two. Isac is not quite a vampire, though he has the strength and some of the powers that Feldspar has, he is mostly unaffected (other than simply being pale) by sunlight and other classic vampire weaknesses. The two barely manage to get along, though necessity and fate have put them together against a world bent on killing them. Feldspar's enemies from his previous life seem to be ever growing in number and around every corner, while a few from Isac's are just now starting to hunt them down.

I hope to make one of Isac soon, as well as a colored version of this. I'd really like to start making art again, though a 40+ hour a week job puts many limitations on my schedule.
