The glint of light on her glasses danced on the bedroom wall. The mole peeked her head around the door frame, finding the Doctor's bedroom unusually calm.

The great red mare reclined on her bed, her pipe smoldering in her lips. Her eyes closed and a content smile on her face. A gentle swat of her tail sufficed as a greeting.

"Hi, Doctor." Molee whispered, the silence apparently contagious.

"Hello, dear." The Doctor smiled, her blue eyes creeping open.

The mole's eyes traced the room, then fell in disappointment. No telltale lump in the sheets of the doctor's bed, no snorting or whining, not even a pool of blond tail flowed from inside Oscil's pet-bed.

"Looking for Ms. Flaherty?" The Doctor smiled, watching an enthusiastic nod. "She's had such a rough few weeks." A low, rolling cloud of smoke left her lips. "She's all curled up asleep." The great, red mare's finger pointed to the pet -bed.

Molee's eyes squinted and her feet crept forward. Only the slightest movement of the blanket shattered the hidden pony's deception.

He'd curled into a ball far too tight for anyone unaccustomed to a pet bed. His tail tucked and his ears folded, Oscil lay there. The lump of a pony had almost flattened out, only a tiny scruff of mane and the end of his nose poked from under his blanket.

Molee clasped her hands and fought back a squeal. "Just like a little kitten." She ground her snaggletooth on her lip.

"So peaceful." The Doctor sighed. Her pouting lips parted, a ring of smoke gliding into the air in their wake. "She's done so much homework and housework," Blue eyes lit with an evil fire. "She didn't even wake up when I dressed her in lingerie and took pictures this morning."

Caught in the throws of cuteness Moleesha only caught the tail end of the Doctor's remark. "Wait..." She blinked. "What?"

The Doctor hummed back in question, as if she didn't know.
