Name that anime! Anyway, this has a much deeper significance to me than really the manga/ anime itself. I was reading many a volume from the library during moms surgery June 2008. When ever I hear music from it, watch it or read the anime I think back to that time when such a strong person in my life was so very weak and helpless. Kind of a momento mori/ thanks giving kind of symbol for me. The inner series meaning can go along with my own personal meaning as well. Just look up Tiky Nick or Noah in the D.Gray Man series on Wikipedia.
