Calamity Jane (aka Miss Kitty) was bitten by an insect this morning while we were my workplace. We suspect it was a spider. We gave her injectable benedryl and it has gone down since then, but this picture is from this evening when we got home.

At least if it abscesses it's a sign that the body knows how to purge it on its own instead of letting an infection build on the inside and never popping. After an abscess, it's just warm water and granulex! But yeah, thank god for Benadryl. It seriously works wonders. My dog got bit by something a few months ago and the whole side of her face grew huge. Gave her a benadryl and it was gone in two hours.
