I'm trying to reinvent Whomper right now in hopes of improving comic sales and appealing to a wider audience. I think the 3rd Whomper on the right is closest to what I was going for. I'm trying very hard to learn how to draw with more attention to detail but my brain is so hard wired into iconic simple art styles and old habits are hard to break. You can see more vulpine features here especially in the legs and hands.
Perhaps I should just give up on Whomper and draw something else like a Macropod Madness revival comic. I think that comic may have had more relatability for readers.
