I finally decided to force myself to post something, the sketch for this looked okay, and its a huge improvement over my first Aurkus pic.
This design was inspired by the pics
dracostreex and 
thewielder did for me. I think it turned out pretty good, my painting got a bit better, I even tried my hand at drawing glowing things(eyes and horns)!
