Duh, weird title. The title is because I hate random pics with no meaning. This actually has a meaning, what you have to find out by yourself (I guess aikdingo will find it out by herself). The title was inspired by Ill nino's "My pleasent treasure". Lyrics can be found here: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/illn.....nttorture.html
So, yeah, what to say more. I colored Link in a slightly different way, with a bit changed colors. I like it more this way. I need more colors. ID was difficult to color, I have to little different shades of red. For the two different shades of Link's green fur I used five different greens and black.
Worked over one day on it (made many breaks because of my hurting back and hand).

Polychromos, some Prismacolor, Micron pens for inking, Bristol paper.
Scan sucks, it still looks rather blueish, although I adjusted the contrast. *sigh* Sorry for the lack of a bg, but I was afraid I'll ruin it when I add one. It's slightly bigger than A4, so that's why I had to scan it twice. Not easy to put it together. You may see the edges.
But all in all I'm rather happy how it turned out.

sehr interessantes bild. auch wenn ich nicht ganz hinter die bedeutung steige. schöne farben...
nach meiner erfahrung hat man nie genug farbtöne zur verfügung, und vor allem nie den farbton, der genau richtig wäre.

Genau. In Twilight princess ist er ein Wolf. Ein guter Grund das Spiel zu spielen.
Naja, Aik kennt die bedeutung ungefähr, aber wir haben da auch ne ganze Weile drüber geredet. Es geht darum das sie angefangen hat ihren char Aik mit Link zu malen. Viele habe das dann als fanart für sie auch gemacht weil sie so auf Link steht, aber die meisten haben die beiden dann als Liebespaar dargestellt. Das hat sie letztens dann auch mal richtig gestellt, das Aik und Link niemals ein Liebespaar sein könnten. Und als trade pic wollte sie dann Ihren zweiten char ID und Link von mir haben. Das Bild ist ab hier dann relative Interpretationssache.
ja, niemals der richtige Farbton, ach Photoshop ist doch mit den unbegrenzten Farben einfach zum träumen gegenüber meinen nur 60 Polys.

ich hab 90% aller polys, und einen satz no-name-stifte aus dem supermarkt, und rate was? genau, nie ist der richtige stift dabei.
noch schwieriger wird es wenn man digital auf real media umsetzen will.
hm, irgendwann teste ich mal einen mix aus poly, aquarell und pastellkreide aus. das gibt ne orgie :)

It depends on the medium I use. Digital or traditional? Digital I do nudes. But with traditional media I still don't dare to draw anthro characters. I can try if you really want. And I don't sell many traditional pieces because the shipping costs to foreign countries are really expensive.
