Very neat! I'm now reading 'Ringworld' and enjoying it.

Thank you, this was an interesting project and I hope to expand on it at some time.

The Ringworld series is certainly worth the read, though "Ringworld Throne" was rather meh. I can also recommended the "Man Kzin Wars" series, especially the book "Destiny's Forge" though I would read at least a few of the other books first as they will help establish a better appreciation, and back story for what happens in "Destiny's Forge". It is however entirely capable of standing on its own.

Ahh good to hear! I'm about done with Ringworld, and have the 1st 3 Man-Kazin wars ready. I'll check the others out soon.

though, where are the shadow squares?

The shadow squares physically are higher up in the sky above the visual plane of the render. The shadows from the shadow squares did not show up well in this render, the atmospheric effects obscure them.
