btw..I like it. It's very well done except I don't like the use of real photo for the background. It's kinda jarring and makes the whole page look kinda strange. You're good enough to draw a background..just do it. :D

Well, Mike... it's like this.... I use photoshop to do these things and there are a great many resources I can supplement what projects I do. It took me 2 years to finish this monster ( on and off, i admit ) and one of those resources is actual photos that I manipulate abstractly. Like anything else, it is a tool I use to tell the story. SOME projects I have done from total scratch, and will continue in the future as I will use references of various sources to help me along. I am good enough to draw ANYTHING that comes to mind, just as I am good enough to have the mind to use what materials I got to make those visions, whether they are purist or not. I felt the mix was good as it was laid down logically and did not look too obvious. In any case, it's done and it's up. On to the next project.
