Some cute little cookie sandwiches I made, because the Avengers ones were so tasty. I'm all excited about my ability to make home-made buttercream now! I also made some chocolate buttercream this time...my first time modifying a recipe myself rather than looking it up online. Not for lack of trying...All the chocolate buttercream recipes I could find contained cream, and I liked the recipe I already had with just butter and shortening.

Recipes are the same as my Avengers cookie sandwiches. To make the chocolate buttercream, I just added 1/2 cup cocoa powder and 2tbsp more butter to that recipe.
