This is a fictional Popsicle called Toucan Pops. Toucan Pops was popular in the '90s. Toucan Pops was invented in 1995 by a toucan who dreamed to make his own Popsicle. The Popsicle was popular from 1995 until it was sadly discontinued in 1999 due to "the future graphics" thing. Here is a fox holding a Toucan Pops Popsicle stick as being filmed for a commercial for Toucan Pops. This is my new '90s furry picture. This picture is set in 1995.

i am so glad there is someone out there creating fictional popsicles from 20 years ago that were commercial flops for us to enjoy here in the year 2012 where popsicles are much harder to come by.
it really makes me reflect on popsicles, and how oftentimes consumer food products do not sell well despite being delicious and/or invented by a bird.

i don't think it has the "edge" that you really need to catch the young folks' attention
in these days (the 90s) kids are listening to new kids on the block and nirvana and MOP and are really expecting some edge in their advertising. you can't just be cutesy to them anymore, you really have to sell them on how "hood" your popsicles are. i really think adopting a more 'street' sort of angle for your advertising would make the popsicles sell themselves. maybe you could get the crips or bloods to promote them? if you get the crips then you'd have snoop dogg pretty much wrapped up as a spokesman. snoop dog is really big now (when we're talking about the 90s as if they are now)

Snoop Dogg fictionally gave the rights for the advertisement of the Toucan Pops Popsicles and became the announcer for every commercial. Jeff Bennett (the voice of Dr. Hamsterviel from the Lilo and Stitch trilogy) would be the voice of the toucan. They sold more Toucan Pops popsicles in the Caribbean.
