D-7 Vankka

The Vankka is an old industrial/cargo craft created and used heavily by the Dwarven states. Vankka-class ships were designed to fill numerous rolls, from short-range surveyer, to small resupply craft, to an electronic warfare/anti-fighter escort for larger ships. The D-7 was produced en masse by every Dwarven Clan for its utility and versatility, and thousands were sold off to other governments where it saw heavy use during the "Three Wars".
While an older model ship, it still sees regular use around mines and ship yards. Then and now, the Vankka is the go-to ship for pioneering traders, especially in smaller star-systems and around gas-giants, where fuel range isn't an issue. While not sporting any weapon mounts, some captains favor the Vankka for its heavy armor and shielding and the exceptional hanger space it sports for a vessel its size, not to mention its duel scanner arrays, making it a great support/EW craft that doesn't break the bank.
