The alarm went off signaling the end of the hyperspace journey was ending in a few minutes. Admiral Shadow brought up the holos of the two other admirals aboard the two other star destroyers place at his command. “gabe, kami, reports have come in from spy probes. the rebels built up a large fleet here and will be moving in on the imperial shipping lanes if we don’t intervene.” he motioned the a holographic battle plan showing the Pargon nebula. “they will be stationed 10,000 kilometers from our hyperspace jump, immediately dispatch all tie fighters and disable as many of the rebels ships before they can jump.” “yes sir” the two admirals said in unison, “twenty seconds!” yelled the navigations officer, Shadow went over the diagram, it was perfect there is no way it can go wrong.

“entering real space!” yelled the navigations officer. the stars began to recede and straighten out and the nebula came into view. “where are the ships?!” Shadow yelled, “um...sir they are two light weeks away from our previous known location” Shadow sighed “prepare for micro jump. we are landing directly next to them, have all gunnery crews on standby” “yes sir!” yelled multiple officers who began issuing orders to all personnel on the ship. the micro jump lasted only a few seconds and they landed almost on top of a small corellian corvette “all turbolaser batteries open up!” Shadow yelled, there were a lot more ships than HQ had predicted. “Tie fighter pilots you are cleared to take off” yelled the flight officer. a nebulon-B frigate opened up with its main ion cannons on port side “tie bombers focus on the frigate!” Shadow brought up the hollow of his other admirals, “what is the status on your fronts?” Gabe began his damage assessment “um looks like we lost 5 of our 25 tie fighters,a turbo lase, and atmosphere in the forward cargo deck.” all in all Gabes ship was relatively fine for a battle. kami check hers “lost 2 ties and a sensor beacon, there isn’t much damage here.” she said “good,continue with the attack they are taking hits and going down. remember aim for the engines.” the nebulon-B in front to the bow of the star destroyer, solar wind exploded in a huge ball of flames the vacuum sucking out the atmosphere causing the explosion to engulf two X-wings that were flying too close to the blast.



“sir! both sensors were hit we are blind!” yelled a panicked officer “damn, well keep communications up with Tropical Dream, gabes ship still has full sensor status and relay info to me” “yes admiral! reverting data.” he paused “sensors are at 50% and holding” shadow sighed, this was getting to be a larger battle than he thought it would.



“rebel ships are going into hyperspace!” navigations officer yelled “how many did we catch or kill?” Shadow asked “ five corvettes destroyed and two disabled and we destroyed a nebulon-B and disabled three” reported the battle officer. “ok thats good news, now what is damage readout?” the sensors chief spoke up “we lost both our sensors and multiple tie fighters, as well as three turbolaser batteries and atmosphere in our cargo hold.” “damn we will have to dock at corellian space dock.” shadow sighed “ looks like we will be getting some leave time to visit family and friends” the officers cheered and began to pilot a course to corellia. Shadow opened up the holo with the other ships “pilot a course to corellia, we need to make repairs” “yes admrial” they said and began ordering the jump. a few minutes later they were on their way.
