The style of forelegs and gaskins (and feathering) remind me a little of the design from The Last Unicorn. That horn reminds me a bit of a pic from a book "De Historia et Veritate Unicornis" that has a super-dramatic fight scene in it.

Nice blend of stylized anatomy, and sort of "artsy drama." He does seem to be leaping into quite a crosswind there. :) For some reason my brain keeps seeing this almost colored, so I guess that either speaks well of your artistic intentions, or I need to lay off the allergy medicine!

Fortunately my bf likes his unicorns a little ugly too! ;P
