I decided to further relax the restrictions I place upon myself for my daily sketches but I felt that the changes were minor enough that I didn't need to start a new named series.
I used two or three different brushes while doing this one, and painted with whatever shades of the greyscale spectrum I wanted to use.
The only restriction that I'm sticking with now is the one hour time limit.
16 minutes without a reference.
Trying to work on expressive faces. This one is based on the XD emoticon.
I actually started by drawing XD and then filling in details to make it into a more realistic kind of face.
