"Life to ruin
Ruin to rust
Rust to rubble
Rubble to dust
Dust to nothing
Nothing to void
Void is a concept
It will be destroyed."
Above is an ancient tartar poem about these un-creatures, The Naught.
They are horrifying if you actually can remember what they are, but you can't. You see, a Naught is an agent of The Chaos, the great destroyer. They are almost part of it. They are brought forth by The Chaos destroying a piece of reality then surrounding it with a field of it's destructive energy to keep existence from flooding in and filing the space. They are practically pockets of less than nothingness, and they only have one function, Destroy as much as possible as soon as possible. They destroy simply by contact, the field extending from their body to turn whatever it touches into white null space before destroying it and devouring it's essence. Essence being the past present and future of an object, so when it destroys something, history rewrites itself to leave it out. They can destroy not just things, but concepts and ideas.
Say you where to run from one, it could destroy the distance between you. But why run, technically you wouldn't have a reason, whatever it destroys would never have existed in the first place, so really, it did nothing wrong.
They are also called, a creature that can destroy a world by standing still, and it's color is said to bee less than white. Their speech is even made though destroying sound to create a perfect silent void in the waves, although, they almost always only say,
"____ is a _____, it will be destroyed."
ex:
Time is a concept, it will be destroyed.
You are a soulful being, you will be destroyed.
Some say, that they are the reason sometimes people cry a little and don't know why. Because you just lost someone you love, who now never existed. So next time you suddenly feel a tear run down your face, or your eyes water for no reason, watch out.
Oh, one last thing. No one knows how to get rid of a naught, the only clue is in a small poem, translated from a book that is supposedly more ancient than all the omniverse.
Cast a spell upon it's field, from each vantage
betray the truth that is nothing
Then end it quick with a final slice
Before the void doth no longer sing.
But don't worry, no one has seen a naught in a billion years... of course... who would still exist who's seen one?

there is a version of these guys, kind of like the corrupted, maybe. They are called, Na'a-tar, it translates to un-person. They take the essence and negate it insteaqd of destroying it right away, although this does end up destroying it, it also makes a naught in their immage in the process, and since it was built of a person's essence, history issn't altered unless the na'atar is destroyed. Also, the na'atar will look excactly like the person unless you are looking for it to be a na'a-tar.
