I have my new KRK 10 mastering sub accompanying me at my corner micro studio, I can now hear the low frequencies with much more accuracy than before. This is good for you in that I can more accurately master my low end, which means more boom boom. :3 I REALLY could use feed back on the low end of this mix, since this is the first track I've ever put out using a sub.
And of course, I hope like the track so far too. It's pretty rough right now, but I got the bass where I think it sounds right . I was going for th giant booming kick drum effect, ya know, the whole BOOAH BOOAH BOOAH BOOAH, thing. ^_^ Sorta like the bass in the a lot of the songs PUSH made.

I'm listening to this through some neutral headphones. the sub definitely has presence, but I wouldn't know for sure unless you play your track on as many stereo systems / speakers as possible. Having too much sub can lessen the impact of other instruments. Consider having the sub work as a compliment to the bassline instead of relying on it alone. Sidechaining the sub to a kick drum will make it boom nicely too.
Well, your input is one of the tings I really want know. If I have my speakers adjusted right so I'm getting accurate sound levels. For instance, if I go off of your feedback alone I would say that I need to raise the level of my sub up since I'm not hearing my low end loud enough and over compensating. But I'm gonna wait a while and see what other people say before I say for sure what I need to do.
