There will be many a Bearplane in the future due to an unpublicized project, so I practiced my airplane creatures at the beginning. Then, I took an ad break for a limited time CD offer. Many creatures followed in the second half of the program, including Pac-Man eye whitesnout wolf, marker creatures, Stonewalf, and others.

After seeing National Airport in DC, I'm convinced I must have only happened to see crumby airports before now. I've always understood them as large warehouses of misery and confusion, where all of an area's stores of Drastic Problems were kept, but if you can sit down somewhere and actually watch the jets take off and land it's really pleasant. Is that the case? Are airports just really easy to make miserable, and if so, which would you suggest as the best?
Smaller, regional airports that might have an occasional international departure are good choices for the start or end of your journey: Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Eugene, Portland, Oakland, etc. are all of good sizes. It also helps to fly during off-peak hours.
By virtue of their size, a journey involving a big airport (Frankfurt, Atlanta, Heathrow, Los Angeles, Newark, etc.) will usually result in lengthy walks or bus rides between terminals, which can be annoying and confusing, and most have long-closed their observation decks. However, Amsterdam has a nifty observation deck, which is a rarity.
