A group of friends and I went to go see the movie "The Avengers" the other week, and naturally a picture HAD to be made. Personally, I think Thor is my favorite of the group, so a good friend of mine came over and we did the sketch together. I drew the outline and the muscle and she designed the pose and all the armor.
I did all the painting for this one though. I tried a new style of painting today and I found that it comes out with AMAZING results! It also cut down on painting time by what...a few hours? hehe

My personal favorite bit of dialogue from the movie:
Banner: "That guy's brain is a bag full of cats. You can smell the crazy on him."
Thor: "Have care how you speak! Loki may be beyond reason, but he is of Asgard...and he is my brother."

Thor: *momentary pause* "He is adopted."
