By now most of you should know that I enjoy drawing vehicles that are over the top in looks and stats. However, in order to get best possible looks, I decided during this stream to doodle from a photo a vehicle and study the difficult shapes there may be.
I decided to pick up Toyota's GT-One racing car for it had a fine amount of different shapes that I could use in order to learn bit more about the vehicle and their aerodynamical, almost over the top shapeing, style and everything in-between.
I have to say, I was happy how it came out.

Good ol GT-One, one of the most beautyful Lemans GT-prototype (GTP class) ever made.
You managed to get some parts well others not so well.
Do you use the wheel base techniqnue to get the dimensions of the car rigth ? I ask because I think the wheelbase you drew is to short.

I actually use the "form it out of shapes" style. Basically: I break a car into "pieces" of shapes, then slowly sketch them up and make them as good as possible. This picture was drawn with a use of another photo as a reference, so I had the basic idea where everything is.
