By high speed, what are we talking here? I'm assuming with a fuselage like that, it's capable of something rather considerable.

The small intake size definitely implies gravitic propulsion in addition to mere cancellation. There are no (visible) air intakes large enough for something such as a turbine. I would be VERY surprised if it used a throttleable liquid-fuel rocket, since car implies that it's meant likely for in-atmosphere use, and no-one likes rocket exhaust.

It's intriguing, and I of course await the official answer.

Hmm, valid points all, and ones I had not considered. The air intakes that are viewable may be all that's needed for whatever variant of gravitationally warping physics is in there.

Now just to mess with us we're gonna find out it's got squid style propulsion. :)

Yeah the intakes are just to provide cooling far various systems when in operation.

No it is that cool reactionless type drive that so many grav-cars have in sci-fi, and yes it is capable of fairly high speeds but flight like that is very restricted.

But does it fold up into a suitcase when one gets to Spacely Sprockets, Inc.?
