As far as linguistics, in areas with 7-11s (giant chain of convenience stores) people are likely to call them Slurpees (brand name becomes the generic term).
In areas deprived of 7-11s, sometimes random places will have a "Slush Puppie" machine for the equivalent product.
Some places also sell forms of "frozen lemonade" that aspire to be a little more natural, but that can mean anything from an "Italian Ice" (solid granita) to something that can be slurped with a straw. (Or the can of frozen concentrate to melt in water to make regular lemonade the lazy way.)

The "slurpee" is a whole 'nother deal. It's made with nuclear power so that the flavoring and the ice are fused together. Not only that, the ice crystals are so small it's more like a frozen Martguerita. I believe the slurpee is analogous to the "Icee" which is another name brand.
The "slush pup" machine produces the slushy.
You can identify a slushy by the way all the tasty syrup gets sucked up first, leaving a cup of plain ice.
The ice is noticeably more coarse, hence resembles "crushed ice" more than a slurpee.
Italian Ice is a whole other beast entirely.
Someone tried to sell me Italian Ice as a frozen lemonade and I would literally jump the counter and gut the lying bastard with a little plastic spoon.
Recommendation: Get refrigerator that dispenses crushed ice. Make 1000 gallons of home-made lemonade and go crazy.

Hombre, aqui tambien hace un calor tremendo. Es dificil imaginar que hubo una epoca en que no existía el aire acondicionado y que el hielo era demasiado caro como para hacer granizados :C

Heyy! Por fin utilizas tu fursona para alguna caricatura, y cuanta razón, no hay nada mejor que un granizado de limón, pero ahora te pegan sablazos de 2-3€ por un mediocre vasito, lo que te hace verlo como un objeto de gran valor y lujo. Añoro los tiempos en que le pedías un granizado de limon a los papis y te lo ponían en las manos.
