This is a little totem fetish I created with respect toward birds of prey in the eagle and hawk families. This particular design was a little more generalized, so it could represent either species.
This little fetish has sodalite stone inlay.
It measures 1.8in x 2in.

Eagle people can live in the realm of the spirit, yet still remain connected and balanced within the realm of the Earth.

Hawk Medicine - Visionary Power, Guardianship, Messenger
Hawk is the messenger, the protector and the visionary of the Air. It holds the key to higher levels of consciousness. This totem awakens vision and inspires a creative life purpose. Hawk is aware of omens and spirit messages.
Hawk teaches us to scope out the situation and focus on our talents, trying to draw them out. Hawk learns to see the big picture in order to understand the past, present, and future. Hawk asks us to be observant of surroundings so we won't get distracted from our path by others. It also reminds us not to get caught up in minor annoyances so we can maintain our inner balance.

Lhunie's Zuni are handcrafted fetishes of my very own. Inspired by the traditional animal fetishes of the Zuni and other tribes. They're hand sculpted, just like a fetish would be. They're made with the same symbology and respect in mind.
