I know it's not properly done, but I honestly don't really want to work on it any more. Maybe I'll go back to it later. I've done this entirely on the computer, with my tablet, sketch to lineart to colour. First time. Pretty proud, all things and mistakes considered.

Here's Gaven Mareo Toshizo Hudson. His name has its reasons, you'll get them some other day.

The butler of Alistair and his family, a mixed breed between a Scottish deer hound (father, groundkeeper north of Glasgow) and an Akita Inu (mother). He was born in the early 1920s in Japan and was raised for the first 8 years of his life there, before his mother got ill from TB. She died shortly after getting ill, being small and of poor health before he and his father moved back to Scotland, where the elder Hudson acquired a job as a ground keeper at another estate. The younger was educated as a butler, it being a "secure living" according to his father, In his 20s he got his first, and only, job with the Crevecours. He also became the unofficial father-figure of Alistair, who was born less than a year after Hudson arriving there.

He's a quiet type with a gruffish voice, hardworking and efficient. He doesn't mind hard work and stands behind his master for better or for worse, but that does not mean he approves of Alistair's way of life. He's dry and sharp, but has quite the temper on him if pushed in the wrong way.
