I debated, for a while, on whether or not this metal object was Aladdin's lamp, or a polished silver teapot. Civilized members of society seem to believe it is indeed a fancy teapot, in the Victorian style (or at least of the type used in High Society tea parties).
And as someone who grew up watching Disney cartoons, I can't think of teapots/tea parties w/out thinking of Alice in Wonderland....and, by extension, the Dormouse in his teapot.
This little squeaker may not be said Dormouse, but he does enjoy a good cuppa. He's a little perplexed at the moment - the pot smells of freshly-brewed exotic tea - but it appears no one saved any for him!
Polymer clay and acrylic paints, with a salvaged metal teapot (that began life as an ornament, I believe; amazing what one finds in grab-bags of miscellaneous tiny things at auctions/sales). Dime provided for size reference; he is wee.
He's for sale, and will be accompanying me to conventions unless someone snags him beforehand. Note me if interested! ^_^
