I love that the figure is clothed. If I were ever painting a crucifixion, I'd probably render the figure nude (especially Jesus), and I find a clothed figure on a cross is a great representation of Christian sentiment. It's normally sad but rarely sincere.

there was no real conscious intent in making the figure clothed, mostly just based on the image I was referencing, but your comment does offer an interesting insight that I may expand upon in later works
