Despite carrying a hard, mostly immobile, and insensible beak. Crows have a wide array of emotional visages, mainly with help from their feathers.
Where as crow's lack many mouth expressions, save for a bit of malleable skin on the very back of their beak, we have what is best explained as 'Mood Hair'. A bird's mood dictates how he wears his own feathers.

Anywho, here are some examples of birdspressions.
1) :V, The best representation of the :V Face, Though this link does it a good too!

2) Poof, A crow who's exceptionally happy, or at least properly teased.
3) No Shiny, Crow didn't get his shiny... :<
4) Flirt, Crow tends to hit on anyone with a pulse. Like most birds he tends to do this with his crown fluffed up, showing off for potential mates.
5) >:V, Crows also tend to have fits of rage or jealousy when heckled, or his favorite eye candy is schmoozing with someone else!
6) Shiny!, Crow got his shiny. :>
7) Uhh, Every now and then something happens that breaks even Ian's silver wit...
8) Hubba!, Every now and then something happens that breaks Ian's brain... (Was an excuse to draw the tongue!)

I suggested 1-6, and let her have artistic freedom to draw what she wanted for 7-8. Overall I'm happy with how this all came out, I'd been wanting a little expression sheet for some time. :>
