Finally got around to baking. Made this since some friends were coming from out of town and turned out really good.
Ingredients:
1pkg. (2-layer size) devil's food cake mix
4squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1/4cup butter
1pkg. (8 oz.) Cream Cheese, softened
1/2cup sugar
2cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
12OREO Cookies, coarsely crushed (you can uses knock offs their just as good)
1. Preheat oven to 350 F
2. Make cake batter and bake in 2 (9-inch) round pans as directed on package. Cool cakes in pans 10 min. Invert onto wire racks; gently remove pans and let the cakes cool.
3. beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP and crushed cookies.
4. In microwave heat butter and chocolate on high for about 2 mins. Once butter is melted stir until chocolate is melted. Let cool.
5. Place one cake on a plate and spread cream filling on top, place other cake on top of cream filling. Spread chocolate glaze on top and let cool until hardened, keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
