This is Gråpus (Greycat). We don't know how old he is, nor where he's from. One day some years ago he just appeared at one of neighbors doorstep and refused to leave. He just kept looking through windows and such until the man who lived there caved inn and let him live there.
At first he was shy, but my father loves cat and went out to socialize him whenever he was spotted, and soon he came to us. When we were on the terrace he would come and lie next to us. We often gave him him a snack.
Last year the man who owned him passed away and we took care of him. The relatives to the previous owner didn't want him so they were happy to give him to us. But due to allergies that only lasted three months. That was really sad because we liked him, and he liked it here. He slept in bed with my brother, and we always had to lift him out of the sofa, he never left it on his own even though he knew he weren't allowed. He would look at us with an uncertain stare, and then jump up, lie down and look at us with a "I'm superior" look, almost like the one on the picture.
Since we couldn't keep him he was given to some good friends who lalso lives in the neighborhood. He still visits nearly every day, sitting on our porch and staring through the window, waiting for a snack. If the snack is to small, or not what he wanted he will give us a sour look and either sit down and wait for something better, or leave.
He is selfish, demanding and cuddly, and we love him :)
