This adorable little creature that slightly resembles a fuzzy potato is a Kiwi. No, not the fruit- the little flightless bird from new Zealand!

I created the pattern entirely from scratch last night in order to make the little bird as a birthday gift. His name is Keven and he now happily resides with , where he is very much loved.

He is made from faux fur, stuffed with polyfil and has poly-pellets in his bottom and feet for weight. A little trimming around his face with scissors and you can see his tiny beady eyes, which I think just add to his cuteness.

While he was designed to be a gift, I can make more if people would like to adopt a couple. $15 (plus shipping) would get you an adorable fluffy kiwi bird, though colors may vary slightly. Let me know if you would be interested in adopting one!
