what do you like better?

She wants blood red eyes and I've been having a terrible time with it. She can't get pics and isn't near a computer so guess what you get to be the judge! I know they're rough and need eye shines and stuff, but what do you like better? Darker edges or lighter edges? Don't like either? tell me truly!

The one in the left is more intense but maybe give just a bit of highlighting in the middle? I like to use isqeakypinky's eyes as reference

the darker one duh, naturally makes the eyes pop! but if the person really wants a very RED look i would put more of a toony dark red line to make it pop like this

Personally, I think that the one on the left will show up a lot better. These 3D eyes get pretty dark because they're set really far into the head.

Maybe add a dark line around the outside edge and some highlights on it and then take pictures of them both on the head.

It's so hard! I think they look a lot better lighter. Red on black is really hard. makes my face hurt
