Blob Meshes pretty much have to be build from nothing.

Well, I thought since it's a huge model, just to make the animation a little more realistic, seeing the muscles move under skin according to the mouvement would be nice. But well, I'm still a newbie in animation, I might saying silly things. ;)

... seeing them contracting and relaxing, etc. you know.

Yah... the way they did it in JP2 you would need to start modeling in a completely different way. I wont be able to add that afterwards, and I may also say... I didnt see that much of a difference to what you can achieve with stuff that doest cost you a few thousand bucks. (^vxxv^)

If you had the money, the otion as this fine detailed model would require would take months and not years, and well worth it I think... go JP! ^^ Nice model there, Im a bi fan of dinos as well, id give anything to ride one... in both reguards :3

Its hard to say similar things without knowing the mesh construct. For this model I will need to make a control mesh to deform the high rez mesh, wich is of course possible, but also needs some experimenting on my side. And I dont really see why I should take that time for undoing the errors of modellers when I can as well make my own version that would happen to BE animatable.

To be a little more precise, the creator gave us a subdevided version of the model, and it is caotic. Working with this would be horrible.. and thats just it.
Not to mention that the texture mapping is fucked up if you zoom in a little closer.. and I plan to. (^vxxv^)
