This was from my last day at Yosemite (Memorial Day weekend). I retraced the trail to Vernal Falls that
Athusand I took Memorial Day last year. As when we went, it was our last day and our last hurrah. A lot of memories on that trail that were both fun and melancholic to recall. When Athus and I had gone, we went all the way to the top of Vernal falls. On this trip, I was WAY too sore to pull that off as I had hiked to the top of Upper Yosemite Falls from the valley floor 2 days before. Instead, I went just to the Vernal falls bridge to get some photos.
On the way there, I looked up at one point and saw this gorgeous canopy of trees that I had to shoot with my fisheye. I'm really glad I did because this is one of my favorite shots from the trip XD A bit of an abstract approach to nature =) Looks like veins to me, though the two tend to follow Fractal patterns. Uploaded in wall res for any who would be inclined to use this shot in that way.
This is a 3 shot HDR.
