It was an image that came to me in a dream, actually.
I was on the boat with the purple sails...purple is my favorite color, and there was a horrible storm on the open water and we could see the lights of the harbor from where we were and when we got there, it was a cove that looked like a woman.
When we disembarked from the ship and went from place to place in the harbor, the people and community were HIGHLY spiritual, not religious, but spiritual.
I guess it's probably symbolism of feeling or being safe with your personal beliefs or something.
I usually let other people tell me what they see in my art and how the interpret it, so, you tell me: What do you think and/or feel about the piece?
