So now I have a wacom, I'm no longer limited to using a mouse for shading, so I wont rely on the gradient tool anymore. Now as you can see (hopefully) I've changed the shading details on the pics, marked obviously. Now what I want to know is, which do you like better, and what to possibly expect from me in the future.
On the old, I just went with the gradient tool, selecting key points to highlight and darken. While with the new, I used the brush tool to darken some areas and highlight others. With the new, I have more control and put more detail into spots.
For anyone wondering, on both pics, the blades are exactly the same, why? Because they look badass and I haven't reached that level yet, where I can use the brush to make them look that good.
So please leave a comment, if you fav this, because I really want feed back on this pic.
Also ChaosCroc, weaponized Mecha Sally looks badass.
