Inspiration from the Sonic.exe creepypasta

This is the 'quiet' music from the first level in the hacked game. The straight 'normal' version first, and then the in-game version at 4:55. (According to FA's AUP I can't just upload a 'reversed' edit since it doesn't have significant changes)

Sequenced in FL Studio. Instruments: VOPM VSTi.

Originally heard this on YouTube, and I was a little freaked out when I saw the title image turn from blue to red...and then, BOOM, blood red static! THAT part made me jump @__@

The original release, so I couldn't play further than the static part on Knuckles' stage.
I was ranting and raving over it at first, now I'm so thankful it crashed - if it hadn't I would still be sleepless.

XD Heh! Yeah, I've heard people complain about that part. The problem was with an audo file that tried to play for people using Vista and older. The creator is working to fix that, as well as update the animations and making a Mac version

To be honest, the game seems a bit boring. I haven't played it, but I HAVE seen LPs of it on YouTube, and I'm saddened noone really screamed bloody murder :<

If I still had the project I could give you a .fxp or a .opm bank... But regrettably Linux decided to be an ass on me and I lost all my documents and projects. :( I could try to remake it though.

And the actual format wasn't .gym, it was .flp. But if I gave you a MIDI file, do you think you could turn it into .vgm?

That would be great; I was in the process of transcribing from your sheet music. And I realised it wasn't a gym; VOPM isn't the exact instrument on the Mega Drive, but it's close! The only instrument I can't seem to find is the one used for the bass line.

You might like to know.
I composed that music to finally get some sleep after two weeks seeing your face everywhere, and in total darkness it was worse. I didn't want to close my eyes because I would see you. I didn't want to open them because I would imagine you were there.
I got to know about you over a year ago and I still sleep with the light on.
